Lunches

During the Lunch Club children are required to bring their own packed lunch. As our policy is to encourage healthy eating habits, we would ask that parents do not include sweets in lunch boxes.

If dairy products or perishables are included in the lunches they can be stored in the fridge which is located in the kitchen or alternatively an ice pack can be placed in the lunch. Please ensure all lunch boxes and related items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

The setting makes snacks and lunchtime a social time at which children and adults eat together. We plan the menus for snacks so that they provide the children with healthy and nutritious food. Do tell us about your child's dietary needs and we will make sure these are met.

Staff

In our setting we maintain the ratio of adults to children that is set through the Welfare Requirements. We also have parent helpers where possible to complement these ratios.

The Supervisor is Sharon Matthews, who is Level 5 qualified and the Deputy Supervisor is Donna Tarry, who is Level 3 qualified. The pre-school assistants are Jo Hannam (Level 3), Julia Birtles (Level2), Pam Godman (Level 1), Georgina Calleran, Sarah Sherlock, Fiona Godman and Laura Billingham.
