Harpole Pre-school run five sessions per week, in two rooms during school term time only. Our Bumble Bee room takes up to a maximum of 18 children aged 2-3yrs and our Butterfly room takes up to a maximum of 16 children aged 3-4yrs.
The sessions are from 9.00am until 12.00am and cost £10.50 per session. We also operate a Lunch Club from 12-1pm where children bring a lunch and the cost is £3.
The times are subject to change by the committee depending on demand. Notice will be given if these session times change.
Please ensure all children are dropped off and collected promptly as the group is not insured outside these hours.
During the Lunch Club children are required to bring their own packed lunch. As our policy is to encourage healthy eating habits, we would ask that parents do not include sweets in lunch boxes.
If dairy products or perishables are included in the lunches they can be stored in the fridge which is located in the kitchen or alternatively an ice pack can be placed in the lunch. Please ensure all lunch boxes and related items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
The setting makes snacks and lunchtime a social time at which children and adults eat together. We plan the menus for snacks so that they provide the children with healthy and nutritious food. Do tell us about your child's dietary needs and we will make sure these are met.
In our setting we maintain the ratio of adults to children that is set through the Welfare Requirements. We also have parent helpers where possible to complement these ratios.
The Supervisor is Sharon Matthews, who has a EYFS degree (Level 6) and the Deputy Supervisor is Donna Tarry, who is Level 3 qualified.
